Touted as one of the most unprecedented Super Bowls in history, 2021’s game between the Tampa Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs will soon be underway. And before the players take to the field, they’ll be greeted with a commemorative Air Jordan 12 Low the day immediately prior. The Jumpman has dressed up the silhouette to suit the event, with a clean Black/Red colorway framing a loud, confetti-styled pattern.
After appearing in the garages of sneaker insiders, the Air Jordan 12 Low “Super Bowl” has finally surfaced via official images. Slated to release in not only adults but also kids sizes, the pair adopts quite a few highlights: the forefoot is dressed up in faux red snakeskin, the blacks adjacent are quilted and laid out in what looks to be canvas fabric, and the eyelets as well as the lower “Jumpman” marked tab are hit with gold metallic. While the latter two fixtures ostensibly pay homage to the Buccaneers, the back tab’s “813” area code is more an overt nod to Tampa itself, where the game will be hosted this year.
